It's no secret that Steve Jobs is completely obsessed with attention to detail. Stories even circulate the internet that the original Mac had the signatures of the creators vacuum moulded on the interior of the casing!
Something another blogger recently pointed out though was how the time on all of the screenshots of Apple products online is always consistently 9:41am.
What gives?
Turns out when Steve Jobs gives a keynote on a new product the big announcement always comes about 40 minutes into the presentation. The product images in the keynote are therefore setup to match the real time as accurately as possible when it's first shown to the room packed with journalists. Pretty cool right!
Apple teaches that paying attention to detail is important, as it's those little details that can separate your product from your competitors, and ultimately if the consumer buys yours over theirs.
